What will LSI Energy offer?

Compliance Procedure - For all organisations with over 250 employees (whether FT or PT) compliance with ESOS phase 2 is required no later than December 2019. In order to fully meet this deadline and undertake all the on-site energy audits it is recommended that a final order is provided no later than January 2019. Substantial discounts are available for ordering ESOS services in 2017.

ESOS Reporting - Verify and validate that the Customer organisation is in scope.

Desktop Assessment and Audit - Audit of 12 months’ minimum energy data and profiles (gas, electricity, transport). Audit of operations data (including site register, floor areas, acquisition dates).

Identification of Opportunities - LSI will recommend and agree a programme for the required representative site surveys, and undertake all audits to provide best value to the organisation from the process. Individual site reports with full saving recommendations, costs and paybacks will be provided

Reporting and Disclosure - LSI will provide an ESOS compliant group report and evidence pack. The report, which covers the organisations total energy use, will provide a clearly defined schedule of energy saving opportunities.

Resolution Procedure - LSI will assist with collecting data where necessary and will notify the EA of any issues and will manage the compliance process.

Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC)

The Carbon Reduction Commitment is for organisations whom use over 6000 MWh through a mandatory half-hourly meter each year. They must report the usage of all the energy and pay for the carbon emissions this produces.

We can provide a fully managed CRC compliance service to ensure you met your statutory requirements if included under this scheme.

Energy Performance certificate (EPC) & Display Energy Certificate (DEC)

From July 2015 all public sector buildings over 250m2 (previously 500m2) will require a Display Energy Certificate to be produced and displayed, which shows users of the building how much energy is consumed.

From 2018 any commercially let building must achieve a minimum Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) standards of an E or above to be able to be leased. If you are considering installing PV panels then your building must achieve an EPC of at least a D rating to qualify for the full Feed in Tariff (FiT).

LSI can provide both EPC’s and DEC’s and advise on how to improve ratings where required.
